Half Way

It's hard to believe that we are already past the 20 week mark.  It seems like not that long ago we were just starting to tell people.  The time has seemed to just fly by, and it seems like soon we will be able to hold our bundle of joy!!  We just pray that it will come at the right time and in good health!!  Our ultrasound at 20 weeks was normal and it was incredible to see how much the baby has grown.  We could see the mouth opening and closing and the heart just beating away!  There has been a huge change in the amount of movement, or at least in the amount
that I can feel!  Dylan got to feel it move for the first time the other day and I am so glad that I got to finally share that with him as well!!

Crocodile Dock

This year, I was the VBS/Club committee for our church.  We didn't do anything for club due to a lack of volunteers and commitment so we chose to put our attention on VBS.  I was trying to find some material to use and ended up borrowing the material from my sister's church in Chilliwack, BC.  The theme was 'Crocodile Dock - Where Fearless Kid's Shine God's Light'.  We kept the decorations pretty simple since we did not have much time to actually set it up.  On the last day, we decorated fleece turtles that are being donated to Stansberry Children's Home in Bolivia. The kids were very excited to hear that what they were making, were being given to kids just like them who don't have any family to care for them.  Over all it was a very good week and everything went so well!  There were many people who had to help out with things that I forgot to take care of, but we did get it all done.  Thank-you very much to all the volunteers that helped in so many different ways.

This was our 'boat' that the kids would sit in for the singing part.
Not everybody fit in it but they seemed to enjoy it anyways!
