Half Way

It's hard to believe that we are already past the 20 week mark.  It seems like not that long ago we were just starting to tell people.  The time has seemed to just fly by, and it seems like soon we will be able to hold our bundle of joy!!  We just pray that it will come at the right time and in good health!!  Our ultrasound at 20 weeks was normal and it was incredible to see how much the baby has grown.  We could see the mouth opening and closing and the heart just beating away!  There has been a huge change in the amount of movement, or at least in the amount 

that I can feel!  Dylan got to feel it move for the first time the other day and I am so glad that I got to finally share that with him as well!!  

20 Weeks

Crocodile Dock

This year, I was the VBS/Club committee for our church.  We didn't do anything for club due to a lack of volunteers and commitment so we chose to put our attention on VBS.  I was trying to find some material to use and ended up borrowing the material from my sister's church in Chilliwack, BC.  The theme was 'Crocodile Dock - Where Fearless Kid's Shine God's Light'.  We kept the decorations pretty simple since we did not have much time to actually set it up.  On the last day, we decorated fleece turtles that are being donated to Stansberry Children's Home in Bolivia.The kids were very excited to hear that what they were making, were being given to kids just like them who don't have any family to care for them.  Over all it was a very good week and everything went so well!  There were many people who had to help out with things that I forgot to take care of, but we did get it all done.  Thank-you very much to all the volunteers that helped in so many different ways.  

This was our 'boat' that the kids would sit in for the singing part.  

Not everybody fit in it but they seemed to enjoy it anyways!

Canadian Winter

For those of you who do not live in Canada, I thought I would put on a few pictures of our winter.  Yes I know that time has come and gone but I am trying to play some catch up.  Now that we have internet, and I have an excuse to sit and put my feet up, I can do this!!

These are my parents.  They were out on the yard when I drove on one day 

so I convinced them to pose for a quick shot!

A New Beginning

At the end of November, our lives will be getting a little bit more hectic!!  We are very excited and pleased to announce that we are expecting!  Below are a few pictures of how I have grown.  The baby of course has changed a lot to!  We had our first Ultrasound at 13 weeks just to make sure everything was alright.  The next one will be at 20 weeks  so that will be at the end of June or the beginning of July.  It is amazing how much we love this little Baby even though we haven't even met it yet.  The bets are on already as to if it is a boy or girl!!  No matter what, we will love it just the same.

Home

Well I must say, it definitely feels good to be home! After a 13 1/2 hr flight from Sydney to Vancouver, it was good to get out and walk. Most of all it was good to see somebody we knew! Jen and Steve along with the kids, came to meet us in Vancouver. We had a very good visit with them and really appreciated the fact that they came to see us. Our flight was supposed to leave Vancouver for Calgary at 1:00 but didn't end up leaving until 6:30. Needless to say, we were very, well lets just say 'disappointed', with the airline. By then we were extremely tired and just wanted to get home. Mom and Dad's hugs were very much welcome!! After waiting an hour for our luggage to come on the conveyer we only had a five minute wait for Dylan's parents so we surprised them at met them after customs! It was a very long trip home but I can say this with confidence, it was well worth it!!
We are hopeing to have a slideshow some evening now that we are back and everyone is welcome. I will post a day and time when we have something figured out. We need to catch up on some sleep first!

Comin' Home

Well the time has come.  Tomorrow morning we are heading to the airport to begin our journey home!  We have enjoyed our time here but it is definitely time to come home!  There are so many things that we have gotten to experience and we look back with no regrets!  With many of the things that we have done here, we wouldn't have had the chance to do them back at home.  We have come away with so many new memories and good experiences!!  

Thank-you to everyone that has been thinking and praying for us!  We could not have done it without the support of your prayers!  We look forward to seeing everyone again and sharing the rest of our experiences with all of you!
