There were some pictures that I was meaning to add last time I updated this but forgot to, so here they are!!
We got more calves in to bottle feed and the
calf shed was full so we had to put them in these 'igloos'!!
These are called Paddock Melons. They are considered weeds and spread out along the tops of the crops. They get to be really large
and nothing will eat them. They just become a pain.
For some curiosity reasons, this is a Ute!!
This is a overview of the farm. The hosue is in the
top left treed area. You cant see it but it gives you an idea.
This is another picture of the farm. The path coming from
the bottom, goes right past the house into the farm yard.
By the treed area on the top of the picture, there is a trail that
heads off the picture to the left. That is the path to get to
Heather and Grantley's Yard.
It looks like you guys are keeping busy!! How are you liking taking care of all the sheep?
ReplyDeleteWe actually haven't had to deal with any of the sheep. Dylan will get his first taste of that at the end of the week!! I have had to chase them in a few time but as soon as they see me coming the run back in!
