It Just Comes Natural
Every Tuesday night at the Lameroo Hotel and Pub they have 'Free Poker Night'. You don't actually bet any money, and the winner gets a voucher for the Pub/Hotel and smaller prizes. This last Tuesday Dylan and I decided to go so that we could meet people from in the community. I don't know how to play so I sat on the observation deck and Dylan played his little heart out!! It served him well though. He went on to get second place out of 23 people!! Since this event is sponsored by the NPL or National Poker League, Dylan won a magazine, NPL coasters, a NPL hat, and a $25 voucher for the Pub/Hotel. With this voucher, we can use it to buy our meals before the tournament begins. If you eat at the hotel, you get a card that allows you to receive more chips if you loose them all during play. Since I don't play, Dylan can collect my stamps to get extra chips!! It really is a win win situation!!

haha, thats from playing the pros at youth and at chrismas. Youre gonna be the next Daniel Negreanu!
ReplyDeleteI know but for some reason I think the people at his level might actually know what they are doing unlike the people I have been playing until now both here and at home.

That is a lot of big talking...... I have nothing to show for my winning except a daughter who got to go on all her field trips and eat all the hot lunches at school. I got no coasters.
